Fairness for All

Author(s): Mark Price

Business - Economics

Drawing heavily on the much vaunted John Lewis Partnership model as well as looking at best practice from other companies, this book is about inclusive capitalism, which is about getting people in and on in work. Acting responsibly to all stakeholders is central to this theme, with employees, the most important stakeholder, the driver of it all. This book is about that other way, a fairer way... A sustainable way. Delivered in easy to digest sections, part one of the book looks at the principle whilst part two explains how to deliver the theory in practical terms, using six steps.

"'We need to do business differently', 'we need a different kind of leadership'. If these two thoughts have ever interrupted your thinking then this is a book you cannot ignore. I've seen Mark at work at close quarters. He's one of the most significant business leaders of his generation. He signifies and proves that you can be both commercially successful and ethically responsible. In the long term that's the only sort of business that's sustainable. Short of having Mark as your personal mentor this book will guide you step by step into a more rewarding and fulfilling way of doing business." - The Right Reverend James Jones KBE Co-Chair of Waitrose Corporate Responsibility Committee and former Bishop of Liverpool. "Lord Price's excellent book Fairness for All [is] #keytofairermoreprosperoussocietyshldbecompulsoryreadingfornewgovt" - Sir Nicolas Soames
